Round-by-Round Breakdown of Selections

The Seahawks kicked off their draft at Round 1, selecting Offensive Guard Grey Zabel from North Dakota State at the 18th pick.

This move is expected to bolster their offensive line, providing much-needed protection for the quarterback.

Followed closely by Elijah Arroyo, a tight end from Miami at pick 50.

Both selections are poised to create immediate competition and depth in their respective positions.

Notable Late-Round Selections

Fast-forwarding to the later rounds, the Seahawks continued to build a versatile team.

In Round 3, they picked Jalen Milroe, a quarterback from Alabama at no. 92, which raises eyebrows about existing quarterback dynamics.

Rounding out the fifth round were Rylie Mills, a defensive tackle from Notre Dame.

Tory Horton, a wide receiver from Colorado State,.

Seahawks also selected Robbie Ouzts, a tight end/fullback from Alabama.

These picks reflect a balanced approach to strengthening both offensive and defensive lines.

Mason Richman Offensive  Tackle, Iowa),was the second of three players selected in the 7th round.

The Seahawks  selection that would round out and signal the end of their 2025 NFL Draft expedition, would be Ricky White III (wide receiver, UNLV).

  1. On a personal note, with this being my 49th NFL Draft, I came away from this event feeling like every need of the Seahawks team had been filled and filled with the best possible talent in every position filled. The Seahawks selected a Quarterback in this draft, which was significant given it was their 3rd time in the history of the the Seahawks organization. Jalen Milroe was thought by the author of this article, to be the best fit for this team, possessing a nearly identical skill set to the last Quarterback drafted, also in the 3rd round and that this author believed then, as I do now as i do now, that this Quarterback selection possesses the traits, skillset, and football IQ that can elevate and transform the Seattle Seahawks into becoming the NFL Super Bowl Dynasty that it was destined to be. The one single trait separating Jalen Milroe from the Seahawks previous elite Quarterback, Russell Wilson, is that Milroe is 6’3” where Wilson was 5’8” tall, which did lead to Wilson’s downfall when he abandoned his greatest asset. Which was to evade opponents by scrambling outside the pocket. When he remained in the pocket his height did not allow him to see his intended targets, resulting in interceptions and sacks. Milroe possesses the ability to scramble outside the pocket or remain and execute from within it, assuring him a much longer and more productive career.
